As a student I had the opportunity to visit Iran during a university field trip. Since then I feel a lot of sympathy for the people of this beautiful country - not for everybody there of course..
I was wondering if there are any Iranian geoblogs out there and indeed there are some!
Blogfa.com , is something like the persian blogger.com and I experimented with some links such as http://geology.blogfa.com and success.. I found: paleo.blogfa.com, petrology.blogfa.com and there surely are more.
Interestingly, Google Translate now also supports translation fromFarsi, so if you are interested to see what Iranian geobloggers write you don't have to learn Farsi;)

I don't know why but all links lead me to the error page of German Telekom.
Maybe it is because of the recent demonstrations in Iran.
But are you sure the links are correct?
